Erice Hotel

Great location near the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. the staff was helpful and friendly throughout our stay. the breakfast was decent and there was a good selection of food. We also enjoyed the free parking and the comfortable bed in our room.

Sadly, the hotel was far from what we expected. the room was not clean and there was a strange smell.

We chose the hotel for its location to Erice and various archeological sites.Secure parking was also a necessity.

The breakfast was minimal, sweet bread and instant coffee, until an Italian party arrived when we had some very good bread and decent coffee!

It was well placed for the cablecar to the hillside village of Erice - 35-40 minutes' walk away.

The TV had a very limited range of channels and no English one.

The hotel had a nice panoramic view of the city and a great location. It was close to the main road and easy to find, which was helpful when traveling with friends. The staff was friendly and accommodating, even providing us with complimentary sparkling wine for New Year's Eve.

Our stay was not without its flaws. The room was in need of a renovation and had leaking pipes that made a constant dripping sound.

The proximity to the beach is very advantageous. The staff were friendly, polite, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and fresh and served by a smiling, efficient, happy waiter.

It's a fair walk to both Erice cablecar and Trapani. (Though the walk to Trapani along the lungomare is nice)

Hotel has really good location near by the biggest beach in Trapani - just 5 minutes by walk. The downtown of Trapani can be reached by bus or taxi. Bus takes 1,2 € and 20 minutes. The Breakfast was only sweet , though there were many kind of meals ... but it was sufficient at all. We had a room with balcony on 4th floor and the room was spacious but little bit odl-fashioned ... I really recommend to people who wants to enjoy the see and also wants be just "one step" from the city of Erice because the bottom cable-way station is just 10 minutes from the Hotel.

Excelent personal treatment. We arrived to the hotel 2hs prior to check in and they had no trouble to give us the room before, and even offered a coffe while we waited for the room to be ready. Great suggestions.

It is a little bit far from downtown, but we looked for this because it is close to a much nicer beach that trapani.

The hotel doesn't have a real restaurant and doesn't offer food on Sundays (arrived on a Sunday, all the restaurants were closed and no supermarket were open). The rooms are clean but are not too the standard I would expect of a *** Hotel.

Pleasant "older-world" decor and ambiance; yet bright and attractive. Helpful friendly staff. Good value.

No dislikes. Would be preferable if hotel was situated closer to the old town of Trapani, (but that is an unalterable given).

Proximity to Erice on the mountain. Price is reasonable compared with other locations in Trappani.
